7455 Software for AT&T, Verizon and FirstNet Support
Most video capture software or audio processing software or scanner software need to work directly with the IEEE 1394 Firewire driver and the Firewire driver will never see a Firewire port chipset since it is not built-in to the motherboard or installed in an expansion slot. Using a Panasonic DV Camera with Firewire / IEEE 1394 to import video - why do I need to use legacy drivers on Windows 7? I was only able to to import video from my DV camerea once I loaded the legacy drivers for my 1394 OHCI Host Controller.
